The MCP server uses Firebase Auth, short-lived access tokens and server-side role checks. The assistant gets tools, not raw database access.

OAuth login

Users connect with their normal StaffCherry credentials through OAuth and PKCE.

Organization scoped

Every tool call is scoped to the signed-in user's organization on the server.

Role aware

Admins can manage records. Staff users are limited to read-only access for their own records.

Secrets redacted

Sensitive organization values, including CheckCherry connection tokens, are never returned through MCP.
